Blog Pimpage

Hey everyone, I'd like to direct your attention to Monroe With a Twist, a new book blog that I found via Rowena.

I've been getting to know Monroe and I have to say, she's pretty awesome. And I'd like to help her out by getting some historical romance recommendations from you. She liked Outlander and The Time Traveler's Wife. And she just recently read Mary Balogh's First Comes Marriage.

Now I am recommending Lisa Kleypas' Dreaming of You (knowing Kristie would get the fact that she hasn't read it yet out of her in no time LOL) and Loretta Chase's Lord of Scoundrels. These two are some of my top fave historicals.

What would you recommend for Monroe?

Not big on historicals but I too loved Outlander.

I liked Pamela Clare's Ride the Fire and Lisa Kleypas's Dreaming of You.
Linda Howards historicals were pretty good: A Lady of the West, Angel Creek, & The Touch of Fire.

Also, if she's into the Highlander/Scottish I LOVE Karen Marie Monings Highlander series, has a little historical as well as time travel and Fae elements:

Beyond the Highland Mist
To Tame a Highland Warrior
The Highlander's Touch
Kiss of the Highlander
The Dark Highlander
The Immortal Highlander
Spell of the Highlander
